Trans Latinx women rise above oppression, demanding justice and recognition, step[ing forward to share their harrowing and deeply personal stories of survival in a world rife with violence and discrimination. Set against the backdrop of the International Day of Trans Remembrance, the play weaves together journalism and theater to confront the brutal realities faced by trans communities in Latin America and the Caribbean. Through a series of powerful first-person monologues, the women recount their experiences with systemic oppression, physical and psychological abuse, and the fight for legal recognition. Their stories are interrupted by chilling acts of transfemicide, highlighting the urgent need for justice and systemic change.
