The Cosmic Twins
The Cosmic Twins is a play for young audiences with music and dance, based off of the Maya K'iche Pop Wuj, that tells the story of the creation of the world, and how the sun and the moon came to be.
Nelwat Ishkamewe presents this play in celebration of Transgender Awareness & Native American Heritage Month 2018, with sponsorship by Campaign for Southern Equality, Emergence Community Arts Collective, Southern Vision Alliance's Queer Mobilization Fund / El Fondo de Movilización Queer, Trans Justice Funding Project, and Trans-Latinx DMV.
